Masters in Policy Studies in IIT Bombay
About CPS
The Centre for Policy Studies (CPS) at IIT Bombay launched the two-year Master’s programme in Public Policy (MPP) in 2019.
The MPP programme reflects the changing dynamics in today’s world and the need for policy to keep up with technological advancements, globalization, and nuanced and complex public debates. After successful completion of the MPP programme, students can find suitable positions in the public or private sectors, government, in academia, think tanks, or in NGOs.
Eligibility Criteria & Admission Procedure
MPP is open to students from all backgrounds provided they have completed a 4-year bachelor’s degree post 10+2, as follows:
1. Master’s degree or a 4-year bachelor’s degree (post 10+2) in Arts, Commerce, or equivalent with a minimum of 55% marks (50% marks for SC/ST/PwD) or equivalent letter grade/ GPA from a recognized institution or deemed university.
2. M.Sc. degree or a 4-year B.Sc. degree (post 10+2) or equivalent with a
minimum of 60% marks (55% marks for SC/ST/PwD) or equivalent letter
grade/ GPA from a recognized institution or deemed university.
3. B. Tech. degree or equivalent with a minimum of 60% marks or equivalent

Part – I: Written Test
All candidates will have to appear for a CPS written test
Part – II: Personal Interview ` LIKELY DATE : JUNE 2022
