Mandi, Himachal Pradesh - The Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Mandi has announced the upcoming edition of "Anusandhan," a multidisciplinary research fair that aims to promote collaboration, innovation, and sustainable development. The event will provide a platform for participants to present and discuss their research ideas in various domains, including basic sciences, medical science, engineering and technology, management, and humanities and social sciences. Anusandhan provides a unique opportunity for students, scholars, experts, faculties, and industries to converge and exchange knowledge under one roof. By showcasing ongoing research across various streams, the fair offers a platform for discussions, networking, and the exploration of possibilities that can contribute to societal welfare and policy-making.
Anusandhan 2023 is set to be a three-day research fair tentatively scheduled from June 23rd to 25th, 2023. Researchers, scholars, experts, faculties, and industries from different fields will come together under one roof to showcase their ongoing research and contribute to the nation's development. The fair also aims to foster collaboration at an international level, opening pathways for innovative ideas and research for the betterment of society. Scheduled to take place from June 23rd to 25th, 2023, Anusandhan 2023 will span three days of insightful events. The itinerary includes an inauguration and keynote addresses on the first day, plenary talks and panels on the second day, and a three-minute thesis competition, exhibition, and felicitation on the third day. The venue for the fair is the A18 - 2A, A17 Complex, North Campus, IIT Mandi.
The theme for Anusandhan 2023 is "Interdisciplinary Work and Sustainable Development Goals." Under this theme, various sub-themes have been identified in the fields of engineering and technology, fundamental sciences, and humanities and social sciences. The fair aims to engage researchers from diverse backgrounds and promote interdisciplinary approaches in line with the New Education Policy 2020 by the Government of India. The theme for Anusandhan 2023 is Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), aligning with global efforts to create a more sustainable future. The fair aims to address the pressing challenges of today's world through multidisciplinary approaches, fostering innovation and collaboration across diverse fields.
The organizers of Anusandhan 2023, the Research Council in association with the Society for Collaborative Research and Innovation (SCRI), are keen on fostering engagement with experts and agencies from other institutes worldwide. The fair celebrates the research atmosphere and scholastic engagements at IIT Mandi, situated in the scenic Shivalik range of the Himalayas in Himachal Pradesh.
