I think it was the winter of 2019 when I first heard the word Pandemic and now I hear it every day! Who thought life would be so miserable, and too inefficient. From February 2020, the WHO officially called it a pandemic and we have been afraid of it.
All of us are suffering from two issues at this time, one is "what will happen if we get the virus in our body?" and the second one is "what will happen if we get the virus in our mind?" and no doubt, second one is way more problematic than it sounds.
People now are complaining about way too many mental health issues after the pandemic has started. It is stated that most of the people are getting panic attacks just because of thinking about this horrendous disease. Slowly the pandemic has become the part of our daily life and we have started staying comfortable with it, the virus fear hasn't left us but now we barely care about it. But I think that's incorrect because in our subconscious mind we do care about it, we think about it and we stress about it.
Slightly, these problems are increasing and people are not aware about it. They think the person facing this issue is just afraid but it is more than being afraid, its anxiousness, its uneasiness, for them it's nothing but horrific.
Well, nobody knows what is going on in someone's mind but surely we can try to talk if we feel something is wrong with them. Communicating is the most effective way to help anyone who is going through the issue of mental health. Helping them to gain their mental peace back is something we can do while following the guidelines of the Pandemic. According to me, mental peace is very important to survive in this pandemic, if we think we can keep stressing about it and keep visualizing the outcomes of this virus then we won't be able to go through it.
One thing that makes the mental health worse is the social media and there are many reasons to say that, firstly the picures roaming on social media of the dead bodies and people crying for help are a big threat. These visuals cause a lot of issues in one's peace of mind and can make the person anxious. Secondly, all the news of pandemic which is mostly related to the rise of virus in the world, in the country, the graphs of people dying every day can cause the stress in one's mind. To prevent all this people need to give up their social life for a while and try to concentrate on their mental health.

Lastly, I would say that we should take care of ourselves more than anything; we should start being kind to ourselves and to others also! Right now, life has given us a beautiful opportunity to learn about everything we wanted to, make this time useful for yourself, meditate, read, dance, workout, paint, do anything you feel like and most importantly don't forget that, it's Us v/s the Virus and not Us v/s Us. So, stop thinking and stressing and start loving yourself, learn to be kind and compassionate towards life. Breathe as much as you can and live it at the fullest. Make yourself stand at a win-win situation; you can't lose your peace just because of a virus. You can't.
