World Earth Day is observed every year on 22 April. The theme of celebrating Earth Day in the year 2021 is 'Restore Your Earth', that is, restore your earth.
How old is the history of the earth? Historians have not been able to clarify this till now. Even a complete study of geography has not been done. New and new habitats and islands are being discovered.
As much as new experiments and research are being done with our earth, we as humans have the responsibility to save, decorate and protect the earth. The human race has also suffered whatever adverse consequences have arisen due to not taking care of the Earth.
Earth Conservation Challenges -
So far known earth is the only planet on which human life is possible. At present, problems such as global warming, soil erosion and land pollution have started becoming a threat to the existence of the Earth. Due to global warming, the temperature of the earth is constantly increasing.
If the Earth's temperature continues to rise, melting glaciers and icebergs, there is a possibility of submerging seaside villages and cities. Earth erosion or soil erosion is also a natural challenge to the earth.
Erosion is the erosion of the fertile soil and fields necessary for soil erosion or its overflowing in water. Apart from erosion, land pollution or soil pollution is also a challenge.
At present, due to industrialization, harmful chemicals and fertilizers used for agriculture are proving fatal to the fertility of the land. These challenges have to be overcome if the land is to be kept naturally rich.
How will the Earth be restored -
To restore our earth, we have to get rid of the challenges facing the earth. Presently increasing pollution is driving the Earth towards an undisclosed threat. Earth has to be saved from global warming and pollution.
Planting more and more trees will prove to be the best means to restore the earth. To stop global warming, pollution has to be stopped.To prevent ground pollution, organic media should be adopted without using more harmful chemicals and fertilizers.
Large-scale factories produce contaminated fumes and chemicals that cause air pollution. Air pollution causes global warming. And global warming is a threat to the Earth. Therefore, we have to get rid of pollution.
For this, cutting of trees should be stopped. There should be proper conservation of wildlife and other natural resources. As much as the earth and natural resources are being misused, man has to bear the same sting as natural disasters. If we tamper with nature and the earth then we will also have to face natural disasters.
Earth has been given the status of mother in the scriptures Vedas Puranas in India, because the earth not only gives the place, climate and environment to survive, but we also get food grains from it.
But currently due to renewal and modernization, the fertilizers used in agriculture for chemical tests and the waste produced by mechanization are proving to be harmful to the earth.
It becomes the moral duty of us human beings to strive to make full use of the earth as well as to save and handle the earth. Earth is our natural wealth, which should not be exploited and put to proper use.
All of us mankind should be determined to restore the earth. The United Nations is already committed to finishing the land and saving the land. That is why in 2009 the United Nations designated 22 April as International Mother's Day.
We all have to understand the importance of International Earth Day and strive together for the restoration of the Earth.
